Ditzler Orchard

After a very busy weekend (I went to a Woman of Faith conference so Bobby had the girls by himself and did a ton with them), the girls and I decided to make a trip to Ditzler's Orchard in Terre Haute.

We have never been to a u-pick together (I haven't been for many, many years). The girls had a great time and we wish Bobby could have gone too, but our weekends are crazy, busy (imagine that) so there really was no time. Today they had u-pick jonagold apples, so we picked a half peck of those, bought a full peck of honeycrisp, picked out a few pumpkins, apple cider, and cheese. No one was there, so it was nice and laid back, plus we had plenty of time to meet Bobby for lunch. It was a great Monday morning/early afternoon!

Pumpkin Works 5K

Rebekah talked me into the Pumpkin Works 5K again. I really did not want to do it again, but decided to anyway. It was just as hard as it was last year except since it rained last night, it wasn't as sandy. The sun was hot, but the temperature today was actually perfect. It was a beautiful day and we really couldn't have asked for a better day in September. However, I kind of forgot just how hilly it was. My time was about 30 seconds slower than last year at 31:54, but somehow I managed to get 1st place in my age division 30-39. I was shocked by the 1st place...I figured I would get at least 3rd since this is a small race, but never expected 1st place considering I walked off and on.

Bobby and the girls came to support me and of course had fun playing in the small toddler hay maze during the race.

IUPUI Regatta

Funny Things Natalie Says:

She is quite literal lately. The other night when Bobby was trying to get her to listen before going to bed, here is their conversation that of course I could not keep a straight face at, but Bobby did a great job with!

B: Go sit on the potty or I am going to spank your bare bottom.
N: I'm not a bear!

Last night we headed to Indy to celebrate Amanda's birthday. Then, today we ventured to the downtown Indy canal to check out the IUPUI Regatta. Originally, this was supposed to be a big IUPUI Phi Mu 25th Anniversary event but due to low numbers it was cancelled. So, it then turned into just a "let's hang out with Cassie and the family" but then she got sick :(  So, Bobby, the girls, and Amanda and I headed to breakfast downtown with a couple other Phi Mu Alum at First Watch which was really yummy! Then, we headed to the Regatta. It was a lot of fun and they had a lot of stuff for the girls to do as well. I'd like to go back and check it out every year because it's a fun event and this is the 6th year of it.

These girls LOVE reptiles...ick!

Warrior Dash Photos

You saw our before and after photo from the race, but here are the professional photos at the end of the race at the last few obstacles. Not at all flattering, but great action shots.
