Brodzinski Family Reunion 2014

An annual tradition for as long as I can remember is the Brodzinski family reunions every summer. We have some of the standard traditions of grilling corn, swimming, and the penny scramble. Usually we take a large group photo, but by the time people were leaving, it was too late, so that was skipped this year. A cornhole tournament was added, which was fun, plus Bobby and I were the winning team!   

It is fun to see how the reunion changes/grows over the years. I remember just a few years ago there seemed to be no kids, but then this year we had tons of kids. It was a fun and busy day (weekend)! My cousin, Kyle, got married the day before so we saw lots of our family two days in a row.

Adventures in Babysitting

Today, I agreed to watch Max and Allison last minute. The little ones (Max and Aubrey) took good naps. Natalie and Allison played well together like usual and I had fun taking a couple quick photos of the girls while they dressed up like princesses.

I can't decide if I like them in color or BW better...so I'll post both :)

I LOVE watching Bobby play with the girls...he is such a kid at heart and they love it, too!

2 Year Check-Up

...just 2 months late!

Aubrey finally got in to see the doctor for her check-up.

Height: 33 inches (10 and 25 percentile)

Weight: 24 pounds (5 and 10 percentile)

Head Circumference:  19 inches (50 and 75 percentile)

She had to get her last shot until Kindergarten and didn't even cry! I have the iPhone to thank for that!

It was an unusual appointment because Natalie was at church for Adventure Week. It was nice to only have to have one child in tow and Aubrey was very well behaved.

After we picked up Natalie, Aubrey took a nap and later in the afternoon I took some photos for a family at a local park. Before the family arrived, I had time to take a couple quick photos of Aubrey and she actually posed for me today...yay!  I have been waiting for this day...and they turned out adorable!

Natalie loved her first day of Adventure Week and Aubrey enjoyed being the only child for a bit :)
