Aubrey | 4 Years Old

Aubrey was all about her 4 year old photo shoot this year! I think she felt extra special because it was just of her, plus she loves all the fame and attention! I wouldn't be surprised if she's an actress, dancer, or something in the entertainment business. Even in sports, she's all about the hi-5's and cheering section!

I asked her some questions this year and here are her answers:

What is your favorite fruit? banana

What is your favorite thing to eat for breakfast? Sausage on a stick

What is your favorite thing to eat for lunch? Chicken nuggets

What do you want to eat for your birthday dinner? cake

What is your favorite drink? lemonade

What is your favorite dessert? apples

What is a food that makes you want to puke? Daddy’s bars (clif bars)

What is your favorite thing to do? Play games

What is your favorite TV show? Paw Patrol

What is your favorite movie? Strawberry Shortcake

What are you really good at? Matching on your ipad

What is your favorite song? ABCs

 Who is the Coolest Person on Earth? Natalie

Her laugh is infectious!

Aubrey is sweet and caring with a LOT of SASS! I have to tell myself often that this parenting thing will continue to be hard, but that once she is grown up, she will be a strong, independent woman! She's a hard nut to crack! She's silly and full of love, but has difficulty controlling her emotions especially when she is tired! Hmmm..that doesn't sound like anyone I know! ;) She is beautiful and we are so very blessed to be able to call her our daughter! She is the sweetest sister to Austin and very much enjoys playing 'baby' with Natalie...like she said above, Natalie is her BEST FRIEND. It doesn't get much better than that! We love you, baby girl!!

Austin | 8 Months

He is growing WAY TOO FAST!!!! (and I'm SUPER behind on this blog!)

I feel like on the exact day he turned 8 months, he started doing a ton of new stuff all at once!

NEW things he can do:

1. FIRST word: Dada...of course ;)  I think all of our kids's first word was 'dada'

2. Barrel rolling all over the floor!! Sometimes scooting backwards, but crawling is on the near horizon I am sure!

3. Loving sitting up with his bucket of toys and pulling out every toy inside the bucket!

4. Trying puffs but isn't too sure how to get them into his mouth once he picks them up!

5. Eating textured foods without the gagging reflex and doing awesome.

DISLIKES (not many)

He hates to be in the exersaucer more than 5 minutes!

LOVES (lots)

He absolutely ADORES his sisters! Him and Aubrey are 2 peas in a pod!!

"Hold my hand big sister, all the years through. Hold my hand little brother, for I will always love and protect you." 

Fruits are his thing!! He will eat pretty much anything, but he LOVES fruits!

Music! His favorite toys are Aubrey's pop-up baby piano toy and any toy that plays music!

He also LOVES his sleep! He usually wakes up between 7a and 8a, then wants to lay back down to take his 2.5-3 hour nap around 9-9:30a. Then he takes a 2.5-3 hour afternoon nap. He is usually in bed between 7p and 8p! He will sometimes wake up around 10 or 11p, take a bottle and then is asleep until morning! He has to have his lovie blanket and his crib light-up music player on and is good to go!  He's not a huge fan of being rocked, just likes to lay down and suck on his fingers, then drift off to sleep!

Austin is truly a sweetheart! We are so blessed to have 3 amazingly beautiful kids! I have a feeling he's going to be a heartbreaker one day!!
