Happy Birthday, Evan and Lexi!

Be ready to be bombarded with pictures since I haven't posted for a week!

Last Friday night, we headed up to South Bend to celebrate Evan and Alexis' birthdays and to see my Grandma Toby and cousins from Tennessee. Bobby headed back on Sunday night while the girls and I stayed in South Bend. Then, Bobby came back up Tuesday night for the 4th and we headed back to Terre Haute on Thursday for my postpartum check-up.

Last Saturday was a long, tiring, but fun day. It started off not being too hot, but definitely warmed up by later in the afternoon. Evan and Alexis had their birthday party at Rum Village park. This was the first time for Aubrey to meet Bobby's aunt, uncles, and cousin. I didn't get any pictures since she was pretty fussy and it was kind of difficult to get pictures while holding her, plus I had to feed her twice in the car while we were there. Happy Birthday, Evan (8) and Alexis (5...or as she says, "a whole hand")!

After the party, we headed over to my parents house for an evening cookout with family from Tennessee...swimming, swinging, eating, and playing in sand. This was Great-Grandma Toby's 1st time to see Aubrey, but unfortunately I didn't get any pictures of them together.

Aubrey's 1 Month Stats

Today was Aubrey's 1 month doctor appointment.

Here are her stats:

Weight: 9.6 lb (between 25 and 50 percentile)
Height: 22 in (between 50 and 75 percentile)
Head Circumference: 14.5 in (25 percentile)

The doctor's office was running behind, so we didn't get out of there until after an hour of when her appointment was supposed to be. Overall, both girls did excellent for the wait we had. Food kept Natalie entertained, and feeding Aubrey there helped keep her happy and content as well. No shots today! I don't know what I'll do next time when Aubrey gets shots and I'll have Natalie all to myself like this time...should be interesting!

I did ask the doctor about Aubrey spitting up through her nose and she will see if she is still doing it by next month and we can talk about medicine for acid reflux. As long as she is gaining weight, she is not concerned...just what I had researched. Everything else checked out good. So grateful that we have 2 healthy girls. Natalie hasn't had much of a runny nose lately either...that's a rarity!

Children's Museum

What do we do on the hottest day on record in June in Terre Haute...? We go to the Indianapolis Children's Museum!

Aunt Amanda came and picked up Natalie on Tuesday afternoon to have her spend the night and her and Uncle Matt's house until Thursday. Originally (since before Aubrey was born), she wanted to take her for an entire week. I think now she is glad she only had her a couple days because Natalie did not sleep well for her (could be because our mini pack-n-play is way too small for her now). She was also being her normal self, happy with moments of whininess and a few tantrums I'm sure. Amanda said she was tired after these past couple days and has no idea how I do it with 2 kids! I asked her if she was sure she was ready to have a baby and she replied with "Well, I'm not ready for a toddler." Haha!

Our house was super quiet with Natalie gone for a couple of days, which was nice. However, it is so good to have her back home! Bobby was able to get more of the fence done and I was able to get the office moved downstairs (with Bobby's help) and Aubrey's crib and room put together!
