Memorial Day 2013 fun

I woke up this morning and ran a 5K with Rebekah. It wasn't a horrible run and I felt pretty good, but had a lot of uphill going on. 

Other than going to a cookout today, we didn't do a whole lot which was nice to have a break after our long, crazy, but good weekend!

It got into the 80's today, so we got out one of the water toys/pool oasis things that Aubrey got from Aunt Amanda and Uncle Matt for her birthday. The water was cold and a storm was rolling through so it cooled off a bit and Aubrey wasn't a huge fan of the freezing cold water. However, Natalie could have stayed in it all night if we would have let her!

                                  

 

Princess Aubrey's Birthday Party

I planned a princess-themed party for Aubrey's 1st birthday. We ended up moving it to a local park, which was both stressful and relaxing. Although it rained, everything turned out great even with a few hiccups, and the 16 kids had plenty of room to run around.

Thanks to lots of people for their help, but especially my sis-in-law, Kristen, Alison, and Rebekah for all their help decorating beforehand!  If it wasn't for them, there wouldn't be much of the princess-theme going on.

Aubrey is very spoiled and loved and had people come from Maryland, Tennessee, Michigan, northern Indiana, Indianapolis, and locally.

What a great day and weekend we all had!
