We had a very fun-filled, busy Father's Day weekend! On Saturday, we did every father's dream...we went to a free event in Indy called PBS in the Park to see characters in cartoons on PBS, followed by a trip to the zoo. I don't think I will go back to the free event, I'd rather pay to go see characters than stand in super long lines (hours) to do a meet and greet. We did get to meet Curious George mainly because the line wasn't too long and we only had to wait about 25 minutes or so. They had several different bounce houses, but again, the lines were crazy and we decided not to stand in line. They also had several stages with different music/performances going on which was nice because there was no line to actually watch, but it wasn't the characters performing, just random people singing/talking.
We decided about after an hour or so, to head to the zoo (walking distance), plus we have a pass now so we were able to get Matt and Amanda into the zoo, too! Tim, Abbey, and their kids joined us for both events too, as well as James and Amanda. So, we had a pretty good group that went. The zoo and the PBS in the Park were happening events in downtown Indy because both were packed! The animals were quite active which was fun! Natalie said her favorite animal of the day was the walrus, but she also talked about the sea lions a lot too!
It was a fun and exhausting day!

For Father's Day, we went to church, headed to lunch at Outback, then back home for naps (Bobby played Tiger Woods on PlayStation), then had a spaghetti dinner with the Fouse's and let the kids play outside afterwards. I would say overall, it was a great weekend. I hope Bobby knows how much I appreciate him as a daddy to our girls. They love him so much and I know he would do anything for them! I couldn't ask for a better dad for my girls! Thank you Bobby for all your hard work and for loving the girls as you do and participating in their lives, even if it means we go and meet PBS characters :)
Our attempt at a Daddy/Daughter photo shoot :)
Just playing :)

Happy Father's Day to my dad too! He is such a great grandpa to my girls and such a great example of what a dad should be! Love you dad and thank you for everything, always!
