Turkey Run State Park Camping Weekend

We camped last weekend at Turkey Run and couldn't have asked for a better weekend. It was warm during the day with sunshine and cool in the evenings. We had 2 camping spots (right across from each other). The 2 tents were on one site and my parents had their pop-up camper on the other site. Natalie got to sleep in the pop-up with my mom and dad since it was off the ground and had a heater. She got up a couple of times but mainly because she was disoriented I think since we have the Travel Lite pack-and-play for her (smaller version of a regular one that is good for travel) and she didn't have as much room to squirm around while sleeping, which woke her up.

I think she really enjoyed camping and being outside all the time. We also took her hiking, my mom wore her in the baby carrier (which resulted in a little boo boo on the back of her neck where it rubbed a little). The trails at Turkey Run are so much fun! I'm not really sure why we don't go more often since we are only about an hour away, but we don't.

We ate a TON, hiked a little, and just visited around the campfire. I really hope to make this an annual occurrence for many, many years!  We just won't bring as much food since it seemed like we had enough for a small army. I didn't take many pictures like I wished I would have and didn't take it hiking so here are a few:
