Meeting Queen Elsa and Princess Anna!!!

The girls, Amanda, and I made a whirlwind trip up north for a Frozen extravaganza! Watching Frozen in a 'theatre' like setting was definitely different that seeing it when it first came out! By now, I think every kid (at least the ones there) have watched it a trillion times, so it was quite noisy!  However, we got served popcorn, hot chocolate and a frozen treat!  After the movie, we headed outside to one of the buildings on the property so we could me Olaf, Anna, Elsa, and Sven!

Aubrey was deathly afraid of Olaf and screamed every time she looked at him even though he was literally always 20-30 feet away from her!  It was quite comical. However, in her defense, Olaf was quite large in comparison to Olaf in the movie! :)  Natalie on the other hand LOVED Olaf, so much we even had to give him a hug goodbye!

 

I think both of the girls were awestruck when it came to meeting Anna and Elsa. They were the real deal and totally looked the part!  After looking at their Instagram accounts, I'm almost 100% sure that Anna's hair was real, just as much as Elsa's. These girls totally looked the part and seemed to be having so much fun. I think Aubrey and Natalie could have stared at them all day! :)

When I pictured meeting Sven, I guess I didn't anticipate a real reindeer, but that makes sense!

Fernwood Botanical Gardens was the place that hosted this meet-up and it's really beautiful and would have been fun to explore, but it was cold and snowy, so we stuck with the indoor stuff and just ventured right outside the doors to explore the cool vine houses in the courtyard.
