Halloween 2015

We didn't dress Austin up this year, although the girls wanted to dress him up like a fox!  I thought it was silly to spend $20-30 on a costume for a newborn and I just didn't have the time to be creative with a costume for him. So, he wore his outfit that had built-in dinosaur feet on his clothes.

The girls had fun carving pumpkins, too!

For the longest time, Natalie wanted to be a witch for Halloween, but then when she saw the Skye costume (from Paw Patrol) at the store, that's all she could talk about and was very excited to tell others what she was going to be!  Aubrey's costume all came from a broken tent pole that Bobby had laying around. She started using it as a cane and walking around the house like an old lady. I have no idea who she saw walking with a cane, but it was quite comical!  I decided to make her a walker (in hindsight the cane would have been much easier for her and us, but the walker idea was just too cute!)  Aubrey's costume costed just as much as Natalie's because of the material to make the walker, but she became quite the celebrity when we went trick-or-treating in downtown Terre Haute...her picture made it on the Downtown Terre Haute Facebook page...lol. There were even random people stopping to take pictures of her!  She actually did great with walking with a walker, but was difficult for her to maneuver for long distances! She was definitely slow like an old lady would have been!  She was also super excited to tell people she was going to be an old lady for Halloween!  Can't wait to see what all 3 of them will be next year!

On Friday, we went downtown with the Vandiver's for trick-or-treating. Saturday, the girls and I headed to Plainfield to meet up with Cassie and Gavin, then had dinner at our house with friends, followed by trick-or-treating in our neighborhood. We, of course, have WAY TOO MUCH candy!!!
