Holliday Park ~ Indianapolis

The plan for today was originally to meet up with Cassie and Gavin to go to a water park in Danville, IN but we had an unusually cool day which made us change our plans. I was not one bit upset about the weather because I LOVE Fall and the weather that comes along with it!

Fortunately, Bobby decided to turn around on his way to work to let me drive his car instead of mine since I've been having problems with the trunk latching (I have my way of getting it closed though). Good thing he turned around because when he went to start my car, it was dead!  Thank goodness for his change of heart!  I haven't given him much credit lately, but he has been great letting me get some alone time whether it be going to Zumba, having a girls night after Zumba one day this week (even with a sick Natalie), and tonight I even got to get my run in without the girls in tow.  He's been working hard on the fence...we now have one gate almost done! 2 more gates and the fence is basically complete!  Tonight, he even hooked up the light in the guest room since my parents made a spontaneous visit to Terre Haute. He is becoming quite the handyman!

Okay, back to today!

We decided instead to meet up at a park in Indy that had a playground and places to walk. Cassie got a little lost, but it actually worked out great for me because I was able to feed Aubrey in the car and change both girls before it was time to play.  The weather was PERFECT (in my opinion), cool but warm when the sun peaked through the clouds. Gavin and Natalie got to play while Cassie and I were the 'mamarazzi' and Aubrey slept (most of the time) in the Moby Wrap. It was quite difficult maneuvering in some parts of the playground chasing Natalie with a 2 month old strapped to me, but we managed.

Ready for picture overload!

Once the kids had enough playing, snack time, then walk time where we met up with Megan and Truman (he's almost 5 months old...I cannot believe it)!  I didn't get one picture of him and Megan, though. Although, Cassie did get a good group shot of us all at lunch.  Megan taught me a new way to put Aubrey in the Moby Wrap which I like MUCH better and I think she does, too!

After the park, we headed to lunch where of course Aubrey wanted to eat. Thank goodness for great friends because they took over Natalie duty while I nurse Aubrey in the bathroom. Thank you to Cassie too for taking Natalie while I ordered because she was being quite the handful. She has started to do a new thing that when she walks with you holding her hand, she will just let her legs give out and fall to the ground. She thinks this is the greatest thing ever...me, not so much!  It was great to catch up with friends, we had a great day! Our timing was perfect too because as we left lunch, it started raining. We couldn't have asked for a better day.

We ended the day with a dinner out sitting outside!
