Coloring Eggs

So...sometimes the ideas I find on Pinterest, don't really turn out like they are supposed to!

I had seen a pin about coloring Easter eggs using shaving cream and food coloring and thought it sounded like a fun and different idea for the girls. I knew it would be messy, but I never anticipated just how messy.

Bobby was rolling his eyes at me the whole time and reminding me constantly of what a dumb idea it was to do with a 2 year old and a 10 month old. Natalie preferred to rub the colored shaving cream all over her belly and chest, while Aubrey decided she would taste it...yum yum!  The whole thing took longer to set-up than to complete since it only lasted for each girl to do 1 egg before they were plunked into the bathtub.

Plus, the eggs were barely colored.

I forgot all about our traditional egg kit that came with Natalie's build-a-bear Amanda got her last year. Natalie spilled one of the glasses with coloring in it and since my first idea didn't go as planned, I was not having the best time coloring eggs. Bobby helped which was good, but by the time we were all done with the eggs, it was definitely bedtime...before 8p!!!!
