Today at daycare, Natalie participated in an Easter egg hunt with all of her little friends. I was not surprised one bit that she would be in a different outfit since it was outside, which was very muddy from the melting snow. The girls said she had fun, as I expected, but was a little clumsy in her boots. Hence this picture:
Emma's face in this picture is priceless! Haha!
Updates on Natalie:
1. Bedtime is still horrible!!!! She is coming out of her room (most of the time for no good reason) at least 5-10 times a night. It just wears us down. It doesn't seem to matter if the TV in the living room is on/off, lights anywhere are on/off...she just does not want to go to bed. This lasts anywhere from 1-3 hours after her "original" bedtime. She usually at least poops 1-2 times while she is supposed to be going "night-night." However, she hasn't been digging in her diaper (knock on wood) recently. We go through a half-gallon of milk it seems every 3 days because she is constantly wanting more milk. We haven't been able to break her of her nighttime milk habit. I just recently started putting in half milk/half water and so far she doesn't seem to notice one bit. My goal is to gradually wean her to water only at night. We don't buy regular milk either, we buy organic milk with DHA in it for her which is crazy, expensive...on sale a half-gallon is $2.89!
2. She is starting to use lots of new words every day. Included in that list is "have it" when she wants something, "mine," and she refers to certain toys as "Natalie's." Sharing is not her forte at the moment.
Today when Bobby came home and opened the door she greeted him by saying "more goldfish please." Her bowl was empty from the small snack I had given her earlier...haha. She still loves naming off the names of her friends, and most recently starting say "Mallory," which is super cute because she sounds it all out.
3. Instead of everything being the color orange, she now includes pink sometimes too.
4. I don't remember if I wrote this earlier, but her feet are growing and she is now in a toddler size 7.
