My pretty mom:)
My beautiful, Natalie :)
My pretty stinker, Aubrey! :)
Before Bobby left, he took the girls to pick out flowers (I have yet to plant) and a DQ ice cream cake that was all Natalie's idea!
Bobby signed up to do an Adventure Race (biking, canoeing, and running) that was 4 hours long on Saturday morning, then flew to Houston, TX later that afternoon for a weeklong conference for work. To top off the stress, Bobby also wrecked our car (not our SUV thankfully) on Friday before he was supposed to leave! Thanks again, Bobby, for the great mother's day gift! (sarcasm)
However, it was really nice to be able to spend time with my mom on Mother's Day, as well as my grandma (and of course my dad and grandpa, too). I've always enjoyed going to TN and this time wasn't any different. It's also nice to have help from the grandparents with the girls because I have definitely been stressed out lately between work, keeping up with the house (which I am not), all of our activities, and the millions of meltdowns nightly and during the day. It's a vicious cycle...once I FINALLY get Natalie to go to bed after it sounds like I'm beating her because of her obnoxious temper tantrum, I am fried and have no energy to keep up with the house or anything else for that matter...I'm just done! I'm thankful that Aubrey likes routine and is easily put to bed, car rides are her shortfall for sure!

I've always admired my grandma's clematis plants and really all of her plants around the house!
Rocky, the neighbor horse.

I am so lucky to be a mommy to these 2 beautiful, energetic girls!
On Mother's Day, we went over to my aunt's in-laws and got to play on the farm with chickens, cows, and a hayride.

Natalie of course hated the hayride and Aubrey loved it!

So instead of a hayride, Natalie got to pet a chicken :)

Instead of the hayride, Natalie made my mom walk the field instead!
Thanks again Grandma and Grandpa Toby for letting us crash your weekend, we had a great time like always. Also, thanks mom and dad for all of your help with the girls...it is ALWAYS appreciated! Love you all!
