Bobby had signed up to do the Eagle Creek Sprint Tri on Saturday morning, so we stayed at Matt and Amanda's house for one last time (they will be moving to Michigan next weekend) on Friday night. Then, got up bright and early on Saturday morning to head to the race at 6:30a which didn't start until 8a. Last year when Bobby did the race, he did not have a road bike, so this year he got a little faster and with little training, I think he did great! This will never be on my radar of things to accomplish because I can't stand swimming or biking...I'll just stick with runs! Dave and his daughter, Emily participated as well, but Dave did the duathlon which didn't require the swimming portion. The girls did great watching because there is always something going on to watch.
Bobby's official results:

After the race, we got cleaned up and heading up north to go to Bobby's 2nd cousin's high school graduation party where we saw some of his family.
On Father's Day, we headed to church, then split up so Bobby went to spend time with his dad and the girls and I spent the day with my dad at my parent's house with swimming and a cookout. It was a nice relaxing day.
I couldn't ask for a better dad for the girls! Bobby loves the girls unconditionally and plays with them any time he gets! Even when he's trying to work on something, he let's them "help" him! He's so patient with them and works hard to provide for our family. I can't wait to see how he is with his son...hopefully, he's not too hard on him!
I haven't spent Father's Day with my dad in awhile...so it was nice to be able to spend time with him on Father's Day. He is such a great dad and grandpa and I have great memories growing up (and even now). He's always been a hard worker and would do anything for us and loves us unconditionally. It's been so much fun seeing him with the girls! It will be interesting to see him with a grandson since he's so used to having girls around all the time!
I just realized as I was writing this that I never wrote anything for Mother's Day, so I'll have to do that soon!
