Amanda's Bachelorette Party!

This weekend, I headed to Indy for Amanda's Bachelorette Party while Bobby stayed in Terre Haute with Natalie.

I had a great weekend, as did all the girls that went out for Amanda's party I believe. We started off meeting up at Hotel Indigo where we were going to stay for the night. It was a really neat hotel. Very artsy, which was my goal since the main theme of her party was on the artsy side of things!

After meeting up at the hotel, we headed downtown to go to the Propylaeum, which is a house that was built in 1890. Occasions Divine was the company that held the Wine, Art, and Food event we attended which was located in the old stable/carriage house. We toured the old home, then headed to the carriage house to start our event.

We all had a great time at dinner and dabbling in some water color. Even though most of us said we weren't artists, I think everyone's picture turned out great. It's amazing how different each person's artwork turns out to be when you have the same instructor and same example to look at! It was a lot of fun!

Afterwards, we headed to Broad Ripple for some club fun. I have to say, I definitely feel much older being in this scene once again!  I am definitely not a "clubby" person anymore!  However, I think we all had a great time, even if there were some interesting people out and about. When we arrived to Landsharks, the bouncer made us walk around the rope to stand in line (where there was no one waiting) and let some other girls in before us, which made Amanda a little mad. However, when we got in (seconds after those other girls) Amanda and I didn't have to pay cover since she was the bride-to-be and I was the matron of honor. (My mom wanted to go back to the guy and ask for her money back since she was the mother-of-the-bride...haha). Then, we were walked back to this VIP section where we got free champagne (not planned at all). We spent the rest of the night dancing away on the dancefloor.

This was not our transportation, but they wanted a picture next to the limo...haha

I was so glad Amanda had a great time, as did everyone else!

Congratulations, Amanda! Can't wait for the wedding in 2 weeks! Time is flying...
