Miss Natalie is now in size 2 diapers (size 1-2 would fit better, but just haven't gone to look for any that are not the Huggies brand). The size 1 diapers were getting a little snug on her and were not fitting the best. I put Natalie in Huggies again since I had an opened package, and once again she got a rash, so back to Pampers and no more Huggies!
This week Grandma Lisa was staying with us since Amanda is on her honeymoon (or at least we think since we haven't heard from her at all). Grandma and Natalie had a lot of fun together but I think Natalie wore Grandma out with her morning ritual of waking her up each morning at 2:45a...haha! I'm hoping she does not continue that trend! It was nice not having to get up with her at night, I didn't even hear her when Grandma got up with her.
Grandma and Natalie did a lot of playing, reading books, photo shoots (because my mom loved putting my baby clothes on Natalie), snuggling, and lots of loving! They tried to go for a walk outside, but quickly turned around because Natalie got too hot I think! They had a great time together! As always, it was nice to have my mom around.

Natalie's new sound is 'grunting' and it is really annoying! She tends to do the 'grunting' noise when she is wanting something she can't reach or just can't get to where she wants to be. She still hasn't figured out the whole crawling thing, but likes to roll everywhere! Her sitting is getting slightly better but she still topples over quickly.

Tonight, she seemed to enjoy holding onto my noise, then grabbing my eye and lips while she was eating her bottle. She is still only eating 4-6 ounces at a time for a feeding, so I have no clue how she is gaining any weight...I guess we'll see at her next appointment in a couple weeks.
She still isn't a big fan of baby food, but does seem to prefer the organic brands, especially the most expensive brand (Ella's Kitchen is the name of it I believe) I have bought thus far. I do have to agree with Natalie though, Ella's Kitchen tastes much better than the Gerber baby food!
