DIY Planter

I love Pinterest because of all the cute ideas on there. I came across this planter idea and because we won't have landscaping this year or the railing I wanted for the front porch (cost since we are dumping so much money into the basement...our money pit), I decided this would be a good way to make our house look a little more homey on the outside.

I should have used ceramic pots, but they cost too much, so I went with plastic and just spray painted them. Hopefully they stand up for all season long. This project wasn't too hard or time consuming, but did hurt my back a little...I have no idea why it would hurt my back at 34.5 weeks pregnant...haha!

I got vinyl decals to put on the pots for the words which you won't even be able to see once the plants start growing!  Hopefully, these flowers stay alive all spring and summer!
