Natalie:
1. She learned how to drink out of a straw tonight with Daddy's help! No more sippy cup at restaurants?! Probably not just because we don't trust her quite yet holding onto those cups all by herself even though they do have a lid. :)
2. She has been giving me lots of hugs lately...and I love them! I'm wondering if she senses her baby sister because in the last couple weeks she will just come up to me and hug my belly. I hope she loves her baby sister just the same!
3. She will now wave bye-bye almost always and will blow kisses...so sweet!
4. Newer words for her (although does not say often): cookie, Natalie (Bobby swears she said it tonight, which I can believe since her dog "Violet" that Auntie Amanda got her says her name constantly)
5. She is being a good little eater lately. Not that she hasn't really ever not been a good eater, but just lately she is doing better than normal. At dinner at home, she gets to use her "big girl cup" which is just a kids size cup with no lid. We put a little bit of ice and water in it and she has the biggest smile on her face because she thinks she is SO big!
Bobby:
He has been working hard getting quotes and contractors down to the basement. We now have spray foam in the rim joist (around the top section of the basement walls) and the subpanel has been run down to the basement. Tomorrow, his friend from work and him are going to run the electrical. We have a quote from the drywall guy and now just have to finish the electrical and put in the batt insulation before the drywall guy can come. I need to order the drop ceiling for the office and pick out the paint color for the guest room, as well as decide on flooring for both the office and the guest room. On top of all that, Bobby hasn't been feeling the greatest due to a possible cold/sinus infection/allergies.
Brandi:
Had a baby check-up today. Nothing new to report, it was a basic in-and-out visit. I go back in a week and a half and then start my weekly appointments. Aubrey's arrival is quickly approaching and I am in no way ready; however, I am ready to not be pregnant anymore. However, as I was discussing with a friend tonight at dinner who just had her 2nd, I do realize that things will not be easy once Aubrey is here because I will physically be taking care of 2 babies and I will be just as tired if not more. However, I won't be waddling around and carrying the extra weight non-stop. Plus, Bobby will be home for 2 weeks or so, which will be a big help!
