Getting ready for Easter

Today, Natalie and I ran some errands, colored Easter eggs, and got ready to head up to South Bend for Easter with our families.

This year we are doing something a little different than normal. Instead of splitting up Sunday with each of our families, we are dedicated one day to Bobby's family and one day with my family. We shall see how it goes. We are headed up tonight and will spend Saturday with Bobby's family, then spend the night with my family and spend Sunday with mine before heading back to Terre Haute.

Natalie's cough has gone away for the most part and she finished her antibiotic earlier in the week. She is her usual, crazy self getting into anything and everything other than just playing with her toys, of course. So, Bobby and I finally broke down and bought a baby portable playard, which is basically a freestanding larger area baby gate. Since our house is set up to be open, the only baby gates that would have worked we would have had to attach the walls and we didn't want to do that. So, soon, Natalie will have a larger "baby jail," but I think we may just try to use it in sections to block off the areas we want to keep her out of, especially the kitchen since she likes to open drawers and eat Rusty's food!

Getting ready to color eggs

Hey, Natalie...you have to take the shell off first if you want to eat it :)

Pretty eggs

Our end result...dyed them using kool-aid packets (thanks for the idea Pinterest!)

She loves her doggie...and secretly I think Rusty loves her too!

Made some 'bunny bait' to take up to our families (another idea from Pinterest)

Aunt Amanda (she is so talented) has already started painting Aubrey's letters for her wall and they are so cute! Here is a preview:
