We were originally going to try to go to Chicago the day after Thanksgiving since we used to do it every so often before kids, but it was snowy and cold and decided we didn't want to make that trip. Instead, I had heard about Plymouth's light parade, so we decided to check it out. It was super cold, but it was something different and fun. Usually we are sweating our butts off in July watching the parade, but this was much different being at night and freezing! They had hot chocolate and cookie stands along the street, with some carolers and a small orchestra playing. They had ice sculptures (including 2 Olafs!) and we got to see Santa and Mrs. Claus arrive into town on a fire truck. Afterwards, they had the lighting of their tree, fireworks, and a light display in the park. We warmed up inside a restaurant named, Granny's that has awesome pizza and even more amazing cookies! It was a nice little night!
