Playing Catch-Up!

Oh man! I feel like my life is getting so hectic. I'm not sure whether it's because my work schedule has stayed consistently crazy, busy or what?!  It's not even Thanksgiving/Christmas yet and I already feel time spiraling out of control!  I see I haven't blogged in over 2 weeks...that is unheard of from me!!!  Our weekends have been booked and it doesn't look like there is any let up in the near future!

I better get my act together and manage my time well or I won't get anything done like I want to...

Going back to the weekend of the 19th:

Saturday was super busy! In the morning, we went to Covered Bridge Festival in Bridgeton with Rebekah. It was a good time. Surprisingly, the only thing I bought was an ornament for each of the girls and some food. After we got home, I got ready quick and it was time to go set-up for the church's Fall Festival where Rebekah and I volunteered our time to do a photo booth and take pictures of the kids in their costumes (that's where the girls' Halloween picture came from). The backdrop was a collaboration between the two of us and I think it rocked. It was a lot of fun and we would totally do it again!  While I worked, Bobby brought the girls and did some of the activities, as well as trunk or treat. I was beat after that!

Sunday, we went to church in the morning, Bobby went to Indy to help his friend move, and then later in the afternoon/evening, we had an impromptu gathering/cookout with friends at their house, which was fun.
Natalie refused to ride
During the week we just had work and Rebekah and I have been sticking to our morning workout routine pretty well, plus trying to get some runs in during daylight, which means pushing strollers...ugh!  Have I told you already how much I despise pushing them?!  Yes, I know, I've said it plenty but I will keep saying it until the girls can run along!

I am happy to say that even though the scale may not be budging, I feel healthier and my clothes are fitting better!  I did make 2 pretty awesome goals for the month of October on my RunKeeper app: Farthest Distance in a Month: 43.01 miles and Most Calories Burned in a Month: 5247. I'm really proud of those!

Last weekend, we headed up to South Bend for another whirlwind trip. We got up late Friday night, like usual. Saturday morning, we ate breakfast, then Bobby headed to his parents' house to visit with the girls, as well as to his friend's house who has a new baby and I headed to my friend, Allison's, house who has an 8 week old and a 2 year old. It was so nice to visit and catch up and hold Rosalie!  It was a quick visit, but so glad I was able to make it over!  Immediately after that, I went to University of Notre Dame's campus to photograph my best friend's family, consisting of 14 people!  I wasn't dreading the session, but I was definitely nervous!  It turned out awesome even though it was pretty chilly!  They were great to work with, all the kids did awesome!  I am so happy with how they turned out!

Then, immediately after pictures, I was meeting up with Bobby and the girls, my sister and brother-in-law, and my parents for Bobby's birthday dinner (that my dad so graciously paid for!!!), then a night out with Bobby to see the comedian, Gabriel Iglesias.  We ate at a new Japanese place in town called Woochi, which was really good and would go back. I didn't even order an entree because my dad ordered this ridiculous family sushi boat thing, but it was yummy!  Aubrey was abnormally cranky, but I am very thankful my mom was able to get her calmed down. She was just overly tired from such a busy day!  The comedy show was a lot of fun and much better than I expected. Bobby didn't know we were going to it until I gave him the tickets at dinner, so it was a nice surprise!

Sunday we went to church and hung out at my parent's house while Bobby watched some football.

This coming weekend we are jam-packed again. Friday night we will be going to a friend's house for trick-or-treating...again! and to just hang out. Then Saturday morning I am doing 5 mini shoots, followed by one of Natalie's friend's birthday party. Sunday we will have church then having people over for a cookout in the evening to celebrate Bobby's birthday and the end of the softball season. Whew! It makes me tired just thinking about it!

This house is in our neighborhood and it has become a nightly ritual to go see the Halloween lights!

Aubrey Updates:
1. She got 2 top teeth in that I didn't even know came in until they were well popped through!
2. She is in size 4 shoe...I feel like we skipped size 3 altogether!
3. She likes to throw temper tantrums...yippee!
4. She stays to her schedule and enjoys her sleep.
5. For 2 weeks in a row now at daycare, she has randomly vomited with no precursor to it or fever or anything. She hasn't done it at home at all and I haven't given her anything new to eat/drink in the mornings. It seems to happen around the same time in the morning after I drop her off, so I don't know...

Natalie Updates:
1. Miss Attitude and Miss Bossy lately!
2. Size 8 shoes
3. She likes to talk about firetrucks but will not go out to touch one or get in one!
4. Makes up random songs lately...her latest "The first one says, We don't care"  I have no idea where this is from...she also sings 'care' with a southern twain!
