Easter Weekend 2016

Saturday, we spent the day with Bobby's family (minus Preston since he went to Chicago with a friend). We headed to the Curious Kids Museum and Discovery Zone in St. Joseph, MI. Natalie said her favorite part was the self-face painting station at the museum and the ambulance. Curious Kids is an older museum in a 2-story house, but plenty to do for the kids. They had a great time and we even got to see the Easter bunny with NO line and for FREE...score! Plus, the kids (except Austin because we're cheap LOL) rode the carousel, which was fun for them, but for $2 a ride, once was plenty! St. Joe is a neat little town and in the summer can be super busy, however, for the day before Easter there weren't many people there at all and it was fun for everyone. We had lunch at Silver Beach Pizza which was super yummy! I would definitely eat there again! We spent about 5 hours there, which was way longer than I think we all anticipated!

With only short little catnaps through the day, Austin was so good and easy! We are so lucky to have a go-with-the-flow baby! He's awesome!

While waiting for our table for lunch, the kids had fun playing at the fountain, even with it not on!

Once we got back to Bobby's mom's house, it was time for an Easter egg hunt followed by dinner.

Promise rigged up this contraption...haha! Natalie and Aubrey both said it was "super fun!"

Easter Sunday, we headed to church with my family, then came back for lunch, Easter egg hunt, and Krista's 50th birthday celebration! We had a great time with family! For the first time in over a year, Walt was in a great mood and back to his normal self!

Baby's 1st Easter!

Grandma left a contact in her eye, but didn't know that until Monday morning! Glad her eye will start feeling better!

Walt found an egg, too!

Aunt Krista turns the big 5-0 on Tuesday! Happy Birthday, old lady!

Austin enjoyed playing with the tissue paper!

Aubrey was extra tired from all of our fun on Saturday, but I eventually got her to smile!

My little man!

Happy Easter from the Andreae's! We are so blessed and thank God for sending his son to die for our sins!

These kids were wore out, which made for a quiet drive home!
