Basement Progression...Insulation

Bobby owes me BIG time!  I just spend 3.5 hours in the basement installing insulation with him since the drywall is starting to be installed today around 12(noon).  When he came upstairs after I laid Natalie down, he was annoyed I was on Pinterest and asked me to come down and help. I have basically been told during this whole remodel that I couldn't be of much help down there since I was pregnant; however, that didn't stop him from asking tonight!

So, with 4 days left until my due date, I got to install the majority of the insulation (including climbing up and down from a ladder multiple times and bending down to cut the insulation) while he did the precision cutting around all the electrical outlets/switches. It worked out I guess since he is very Type A and I would have gotten bored doing his part and he would have taken forever to do my part. It was just hard on a VERY pregnant lady and now my back is killing me! Bobby did offer for me to stop several times, but I knew we needed to get it done and there is no way he was going to be able to complete the job on his own tonight!

All the wall insulation is now up, but the ceiling insulation for the guest room still needs to be done. I have to admit, when I went down to help, I was pretty annoyed with how little Bobby had done since he was "working" on it last night as well. Oh well I guess...it's done and we are just one step closer to having the office and guest room done in the basement...yay!

So much for my relaxing spa days a couple weeks ago...haha!

 I'm hoping all that work tonight will put me in labor, but I'm not going to hold my breath.
