Natalie has been in rare form lately! Very whiny at any time during the day, as if she needs a nap constantly. Shopping has become a challenge because all she wants to do is run around or be entertained. Eating continues to involve her throwing her drink and food on the floor, but more often lately. She is really draining me! I don't know if we are hitting the "terrible twos" early or if she just senses change. Whatever it is, she is making labor seem as if it is going to be a mini vacation! I'm really hoping this "phase" passes quickly because my easygoing daughter who I thought would just go with the flow after Aubrey arrived, may not be that at all!
Drywall should be completed by Thursday as well, so then we can paint, order the carpet, and install the drop ceiling in Bobby's new office. I can't believe it's almost done...I thought that day would never come! It's still going to involve some work, but the end result is really becoming visible now!
I was able to get some things done today since I had a slight boost in energy. I was able to update Natalie's baby book, which I hadn't touched since she was probably 1 month old since I've been doing the blog. I printed pictures off and put them in her book. I vacuumed the entire house, which will need done again because of the drywall dust in the basement. I finally hung up the clothes in our closet and put away Bobby's clothes that have been folded, sitting in front of his dresser for weeks! I ordered Natalie a new convertible carseat because the one we have she fusses every time she is in it and normally likes to be in the car, so hopefully she will like this new one better. I was super excited about the carseat since I found it $30 cheaper online with free 2-day shipping, so it will be here by Thursday. Also, I ordered Aubrey's baby book, which should be here Thursday as well.
Another exciting moment of my day was when Natalie's book from her 1st year on this blog arrived. It is slightly over 400 pages, and is perfect. I really hope she enjoys reading it when she gets older, just as much as I have enjoyed documenting her 1st year.
Here are some randoms, but I know if I don't put them in this entry, I may forget!
