Mother's Day...2011?!

I finally used up my spa giftcard Bobby and Natalie got me last year for Mother's Day. It included a 1 hour massage, pedicure, and a facial. It expired a year after purchase (so it said), and I got all my treatments in just in the knick of time!

I tried getting them all done on the same day last week, but the facial girl was on vacation and the massage lady had to cancel since she was sick. So, it was broken up into 3 different days, which all in all really was nice because I love going to the spa, so 3 days worth was kind of fun and it's not too far from home, so the gas I wasted getting there 3 different times wasn't too bad.

I had the pedicure last Wednesday...it was just so-so. The girl was nice, but I think the Vietnamese nail salons do a slightly better job, plus you have the massage chairs!

Friday was my massage...it felt good, but was a little different since I had to roll on each side for the lady to do my back since I couldn't lay on my stomach. It still felt good and was very relaxing, just what I needed at the end of my sick week.

Today I finished up the giftcard and got a facial. I have never had a facial before, but it was a great experience and I would definitely do it again! Not only is it a facial, but you also get your neck, shoulders, arms, and hands massaged.
