I had been wanting to go to Kohls to return something today, without the kids, well at least Aubrey since they have carts there with small seats for Natalie. As it turns out, it didn't work out that way.
We had a good start to the day, with my friends Alison and Abbey coming over for lunch. Abbey also brought along her 2 little ones, Allison and Max, so Natalie also had friends come over. Aubrey cried/whined most of the time. After everyone left, Natalie took an awesome 'almost 3 hour' nap! Bobby had the day off since he had too much overtime already, but he had other things going on like a dentist appointment, starting to finish the fence (almost done), etc. He also had his car in the shop for an alignment and it was pointless for me to drive down south to go to Kohls when the car place is right next door, so I waited. By the time we got to the car place, it was almost 7.
I had thought about not going into Kohls to return 1 thing and was just going to do it tomorrow since either way I would have both girls, but against my better judgement, we headed to Kohls. I had Aubrey in the Moby wrap and Natalie in the cart. Natalie whined unless the cart was moving or she had a mirror in front of her. Aubrey slept (thank goodness) until it was time to checkout. I managed to try on a pair of jeans while have Aubrey attached to me. I am becoming quite talented in the multi-tasking department! I found a shirt that will probably look horrible on me, but decided to buy it and take it back if it doesn't fit right since the last shirt I didn't buy there that I loved, but didn't get because I thought I could buy it online with coupons...but could never find it online or in the store tonight.
Needless to say, I am mentally drained from all of Aubrey's crying fits today...Natalie again was good! The crying just wears on my nerves and eventually drives me to...well tonight, drink...haha! Poor baby, I feel bad for her because I think her belly just hurts all the time because she is gassy, but so far gas relief drops and gripe water do absolutely NOTHING. Hopefully the doctor has answers in 2 weeks!
