First Day Alone

Today was my first day alone with my 2 little princesses since Bobby headed back to work. My girls were very nice to me after both getting up early, I thought I was in for a very long day, but I was wrong. Things couldn't have gone anymore smoother than they did today. Here is a little schedule (from what I remember) from today:

6:30a: Aubrey woke up to eat (again every 2-3 hours throughout the night)
7:15a: Natalie woke up when Bobby went in to see her before he left for work (even though he knows better)
7:20-8:00a: Aubrey slept while Natalie and I cuddled in bed and watched a little Curious George
8:00a: Natalie went back to sleep
(I slept off an on in between 8 and 8:30)
8:30a: Aubrey wanted to eat...again!
9:00a: I got a shower...woohoo!
9:20a: Aubrey ate again I think...or maybe she just needed burped more...can't remember.
10:30a: Natalie woke up
(I vacuumed the house...yes even the closet Bobby! Did laundry, too!)
11:30a: Aubrey ate and slept again
12(noon): Natalie ate lunch and behaved good as well (thank goodness they didn't want to eat at the same time at all today)
12:40p-3:00p: Natalie took a good nap
12:45p: Aubrey ate and fell asleep (sleepy girl today)
1p-3p: Mommy got to nap too!

You get the point by now!  I got some housework done, had well-behaved girls, and got a nap too! I would call that a very successful first day being all alone as a Mommy of 2 beautiful baby girls!

Aubrey got her first piece of mail today (social security card) with her name on it...so cute seeing her name printed!

Natalie update:
- She is becoming quite the climber...she does well on steps and is now climbing up on boxes...watch out!
- She is a pro at undoing velcro. She undoes the velcro on the back of her Violet dog and on her musical lamb that hangs on her crib...that is until she unvelcros it from her crib too!
- She is a squealer/screamer even when she is happy and playing.
- She loves her sister and enjoys trying to feed her the fake cookies from her toybox :)
- She loves giving hugs and kisses...she really is such a sweet girl and I hope she forever stays that way!

Aubrey has her 1st doctor's appointment tomorrow. We'll see how that goes alone! I hope the girls are as nice to me tomorrow as they were today!  Another reason I wish Bobby would have stayed home until the end of this week.
